And here she is, Lin Beifong as a hawt Flapper Chick from the ‘20s. I admit this was a pretty rushed sketch of her, but I’m fairly happy with how it turned out. The belt is taken from her uniform, as are the layers for the bottom of the skirt. She’s wearing tights and I was thinking fishnet but then I thought maybe that would be too much since she already has fishnet gloves. (and I also didn’t want to draw them ^^;) I gave her some fringe because someone in the group needed it and I figured it’d add to her look. Don’t be fooled by that boa. It’s only there for looks. Lin Beifong isn’t the kickass chief of police for nothing. The boa is lined with a metal wire she can use in case she ever needs to take anyone down. I gave her a simpler, less feathery headband since I figured the fringe and boa was fancy enough and I figured this would suit her more. I know her uniform is technically varying shades of gray and black but I thought that’d be too boring and went with a dark green instead. Also thought about doing horizontal layers of fringe per the traditional flapper look, especially since her uniform has horizontal lines, but liked this idea better. Unfortunately she looks a little on the younger side here but earlier she looked too old. Basically I can't win lol.

Oh, and that cigarette holder? Also a weapon. And the pearls? Also a weapon - she can bend the wire in the string. Basically Lin is always ready for anything, whatever she’s wearing. But really, accessories aside, Lin Beifong IS a weapon. No one better try to pull a fast one on her just cause she’s dressed to party.

i thought she'd look silly as a flapper- like she was trying to be something she's not. but she looks like the incredibly hot badass she is! i love it!

Aw thanks! Yeah I was really hesitant to put her in a flapper outfit...doesn't seem entirely like our Chief of Police. BUT if she was going to be one she needed to Rock it. I'm glad you like how it came out!
