Painter Chick

I know it's big, but please Full-View for details.

Lame-O title I know. And really the whole thing is lame but I'm rather proud of it. Although...doesn't really take much for me to be proud of something

In any case, this is a progression of something that, yet again, started out as a quick doodle (as you can see in the Far Left column). I used this is a trial for Painer 9 since I've never used Painter before and lemme tell you, Painter is complicated. Course, I just don't know what I'm doing and usually never do. Remember, I'm a doodler and not much more so this coloring business is still really new whatever the medium.

I messed up in the far Right because, as I was coloring the background (not really knowing what to do with it because I never got around to drawing a table or a banister...yes I know, lame) I ended up coloring her arms on accident so they've got a different tint compared to the rest of her skin. And don't get me started on her feet. I can't draw feet if my life depended on it. >.<

I know it's really sketchy but actually that's what I was going for - the sketchy, casual look just like her. I was going to make the coloring even sketchier but I'm not very good at artsy messiness.

I'm kind of embarassed to say this but I sorta, kinda drew this after myself. No, I look nothing, NOTHING like her (if you've found my pics in my gallery, you'll know) but I was wearing the same jeans, similar tank top, and my hair was up like that. I wish I had the red streaks but, eh. So basically this is who I WISH I looked like, haha.
