SCA Tournament of the Roses

I doodled this whilst at an SCA (Societyof Creative Anachronisms... think Renaissance Fair but smaller and more hardcore... email me if you're interested or curious) event that my roomie Sarah brought me to during Freshman year. It was the Tournament of the Roses (fighters fight for their ladies -there's an official term for them but forgot- and the winners of each bout present their ladies with a rose) so... hence my poor attempt at drawing a rose. The costume of the Lady was inspired by Leah (one of our hostesses) and another person's clothing. I think it was this event that I looked like a mustard packet with a mustard-yellow gown. Glad I didn't take pictures of that o.o

It's not one of my better or worse pics. Definitely could have been worse. I mean the proportions aren't as bad as most of my older (and even current) stuffs. I did really badly with the lady's nose up top... and I can't draw flowers if my life depended on it. Actually I can't do a lot of stuff if my life depended on it, hehehe.
